The bespoke creation journey starts with getting in touch with Equatorial for an initial no-obligation chat via email, phone, or in-person. We will discuss your vision, style, preferred gemstones, materials, budget range, timeline, and other details you have in mind.
We can help you design brand-new unique jewellery or modernise family heirlooms or old jewellery to reflect your unique style and preferences.
Whether you have a clear vision or need help to refine ideas and the design, we are here to support you and bring your imagination to life.
Our team will guide you through every step of the process, from selecting gemstones and custom-designing to colours, shapes, cuts, clarity, treatments, types of precious metals and settings. We will provide honest advice and ensure that the process is smooth sailing and enjoyable for you.
If you need an estimate at this stage, we will endeavour to provide you with a rough cost though they may vary widely depending on the gemstones that you eventually choose.
2. Choose Your Gems
We offer a stunning collection of natural gemstones from around the world, and custom-order options for natural and lab-grown diamonds and gemstones.
We will guide you through the gemstone options to find what resonates with you, and take your budget range and preferences into consideration. If you have not decided on a budget, we will explore various design and gemstone options and advise on pricing to help you make an informed decision.
If you have a dream gemstone in mind, we are happy to source for it. The search can be immediate or take longer for rare stones, but we are committed to finding your perfect piece. Once we find the gemstones that fit your requirements, we will contact you to share HD images, videos, and detailed descriptions. We provide independent gemological authenticity certificates to ensure quality and provide you with complete reassurance.
Clients also trust us to modernise family heirlooms and old jewellery. If that is your goal, please bring along your old jewellery and gemstones and we can incorporate them into new designs (gemstones can be used if they are undamaged upon our inspection). After finding the perfect gemstones, we will discuss design concepts and optimal settings to highlight your gem's beauty.
3. Custom Design
No matter where you are in the world, we will guide you through every step of the process. We are dedicated to ensuring that your customised piece is everything you have ever imagined and more.
First, we sketch design ideas, working closely with you to capture your vision and preferred elements. This ensures your jewellery is personal and unique. We will incorporate your feedback and make the necessary revisions to finalise the sketch.
We will then provide you with a quote for the design. Once agreed, we will create detailed 3D renderings so you can see exactly how your jewellery will look and this is where we will make any final adjustments.
With your approval, we will proceed to craft your custom jewellery using the finest materials, including Platinum and 18k solid gold.
4. Production
The production process takes an estimated 8 - 10 weeks.
If you have an urgent request, please let us know as early as possible. We strive to help speed up production as much as we can, although we cannot guarantee it.
Before crafting your bespoke piece, we provide a detailed quotation, answer any questions, and allow you time to review and confirm your order. A 50% deposit is required prior to production.
For engagement pieces, we recommend waiting to receive your finished ring before making any proposal plans. Handmade jewellery can sometimes face unforeseen delays. We will provide you with frequent updates on your piece's progress and address any of your questions throughout the production journey.
5. Delivering your unique jewellery
When your custom-made fine jewellery has been completed, we will package it securely for shipping and provide delivery instructions while requesting the balance payment.
For customers in Singapore, we offer personal delivery and fitting to ensure a perfect fit. We will contact you to arrange a time that is convenient for you.
For international orders, we use a third-party courier with insurance coverage.
